Dmytro should not suffer

Dima was born without a kidney, with severe intestinal malformations and cerebral palsy.  The mother is raising her son alone, so the family really needs our help in buying medicines, consumables and special food for 6 months.

Immediately after birth, the boy's intestines were removed to the front abdominal wall and a colostomy was performed. For 11 years, he has been using a calorimeter, the purchase of which costs 1 900 UAH per month. After this operation, two more were performed, as peritonitis developed twice.

At the age of 1 year and 9 months, Dima was examined at the Kyiv Okhmatdyt Hospital. There, the doctors discovered that he had one kidney, that a fistula had formed between the intestine and the bladder. The boy was operated on twice. And when he was almost 7 years old, he again underwent two operations, already on the heart.

Dmytro was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of 2 years and 7 months. The boy has learned to walk, but quickly gets tired due to chronic kidney failure of the 4th degree.

Dima works with a speech therapist and a psychologist due to a delay in development, and Olena also pays for massage and physical therapy courses.

The boy is underweight because ordinary food is poorly digested, he has been using Resource Junior special food for 5 years. It costs 7 300 UAH per month.

Dmytro constantly takes Ketosteril, Recormon, Hofitol, Libera, Berlipril, Kanefron to avoid hemodialysis. For a month, taking drugs is 9 000 UAH.
