Dima was born without a kidney, with severe intestinal malformations and cerebral palsy. His mother is raising him alone, so the family really needs our help to buy medicine, consumables and special food for the boy for six months.

In accordance with cooperation agreement No. 21 between the Ukrainian Charity Exchange and the charity operator Pomagaem Charitable Foundation dated 31 August 2020 and supplementary agreement No. 21. 272 dated 26 July 2024, the project ‘Dmytro Should Not Suffer’ was posted on the website dobro.ua with the aim of attracting charitable donations to pay for the treatment of Dmytro Gorbenko.

During the fundraising, it became necessary to use part of the funds collected on the website of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange Charitable Foundation (dobro.ua) to purchase some of the boy's medication and special food. Therefore, according to letters No. 45 dated 24 January 2025 and No. 169 dated 28 April 2025, we received the collected amount of 19,000.00 UAH (nineteen thousand hryvnias, 00 kopecks) and UAH 24,000.00 (twenty-four thousand hryvnias, 00 kopecks) to the Fund's account and continued fundraising on the dobro.ua platform.

Thanks to the funds received, in January of this year, we purchased and delivered medicines and special food for the boy in the amount of 9,008.00 UAH (nine thousand eight hryvnias, 00 kopecks), in May – in the amount of UAH 15,261.72 (fifteen thousand two hundred and sixty-one hryvnias, 72 kopecks), in July – in the amount of UAH 23,220.52 (twenty-three thousand two hundred and twenty hryvnias, 52 kopecks), and in September – in the amount of 66,200.00 UAH (sixty-six thousand two hundred hryvnias, 00 kopecks). They also paid for the administration of the project.

Dmytro recently underwent scheduled treatment at the hospital. The doctor praised the boy for taking his medication regularly, thanks to which he received excellent test results.

Dmytro recently started studying music and enjoys attending classes. He is not very good at it yet, but he is trying hard and really likes it because he can shout and sing loudly there. After sessions with a psychologist, the boy also became interested in drawing. He is now much less afraid to pick up a pencil, which is an important achievement for him.

His mother is very grateful to everyone who supported her son: ‘Thanks to your help in purchasing medicine for Dmytro, we are holding on and moving forward.’

Currently, all funds transferred from the Ukrainian Charity Exchange have been spent on the child's needs.

We sincerely thank the donors and partners of dobro.ua for their help, and the UBB team for their many years of cooperation!
