Dmytro should not suffer

Dima was born without a kidney, with severe intestinal malformations and cerebral palsy. His mother is raising his son alone, so the family really needs our help in buying medicines, consumables and special food for the boy for 6 months.

In accordance with the agreement No. 21 on cooperation between the CO ICF ‘Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace’ and the Charity Operator of the Charity Fund ‘Pomogayem’ dated 31.08.2020 and the additional agreement No. 21.272 dated 26.07.2024, the project ‘Dmytro should not suffer’ was posted on the website dobro.ua to attract charitable donations to pay for the treatment of Dmytro Horbenko.

During the fundraising, it became necessary to use part of the funds raised on the website of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange - dobro.ua - to purchase some of the boy's medicines and special food. Therefore, according to the letter No. 45 dated 24.01.2025, we received the collected UAH 19,000.00 (nineteen thousand hryvnias and 00 kopecks) to the account of the Foundation and continued to collect on the dobro.ua platform.

Thanks to the funds received, in January of this year we purchased and delivered medicines and formula ‘Resource Junior’ for the boy in the amount of UAH 9,008.00 (nine thousand eight hryvnias and 00 kopecks).

Now Dmytro is feeling much better. He has started smiling more often and has gained energy. Here is what his mother wrote: ‘We are very grateful for your support. With your help we felt that we are not alone and there are people who can support us. Dmytro feels good, he has become more smiling and this is very important. He doesn't get tired so quickly, we can even go to school sometimes and he works with teachers there. Dmytro used to be able to walk for only half an hour because he got tired very quickly, but now we can walk for hours and he likes it very much. Thank you and all the people who care about us and support us.’

The balance of funds for the project is UAH 9,992.00 (nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-two hryvnias and 00 kopecks), which we will continue to spend according to Dmytro's needs in 2025.
