Helping children and teenagers in shelters

Thanks to the UBB ICF and the funds received from them in the amount of UAH 26,122, we managed to implement the project "Assistance to Children and Adolescents in Shelters" and our social worker, together with volunteers, were able to visit children and provide psychosocial support for four months (May, June, July and August 2024), develop their social and communication skills, household self-service skills, social competence and self-reliance, teaching financial literacy, providing assistance and consultations on various socio-legal aspects after they leave the walls of state institutions and enter independent life, and strengthening mental health and improving the general psychological and physical condition of children and adolescents in shelters and boarding schools.
