For more than three years, 13-year-old Oleksandr has been living with a terrible disease – insulin-dependent type 1 diabetes. This is an incurable disease that requires constant monitoring of blood glucose, which means at least 10-12 punctures of small fingers per day. If this is not done and insulin is not injected in time, it can be fatal. Both high and low sugar levels are life-threatening. Sudden spikes in blood sugar lead to loss of consciousness, coma and, in the worst case, death.

From the day the disease was diagnosed, Sasha has to follow a strict diet and inject vital insulin on his own. And in order to calculate the correct doses, he needs constant monitoring of his blood sugar levels.

Oleksandr is an intelligent and balanced boy who loves football and is a fan of FC Polissya. In order to feel like a full-fledged person, to do sports and play football, the boy must have modern equipment – sensors. His family is unable to cope with all the financial costs of Sasha's treatment and rehabilitation on their own. The boy needs our help!
