We have already written about Maksym from Poltava region before. This kid inherited his disease from his grandmother. That's what the doctors said when they diagnosed him with insulin-dependent diabetes. For five days the kid was brought back to life in the intensive care unit. Now the boy is five years old, and for four of those years he has been living thanks to insulin.
The child does not understand that his life depends on it, and he perceives every injection as a punishment. When his mother goes to inject him with insulin, he runs away and hides. Five times a day, his mother has to listen to his desperate requests that he doesn't want any more injections. And the older Maksym gets, the harder it is to persuade him. Of course, it is hard for a mother to endure this.
By nature, the boy is very lively and restless. His mother says that thanks to the sugar sensors given to Maksym, the child seems to have been born again. The boy was able to go to the swimming pool, play football and go dancing. His life began to improve. He fell in love with fishing and started painting. But Maksym's happiness is not endless. The term of use of the provided sensors has already expired, and he will again have to undergo endless finger punctures 15 times a day. Maksym's family lives in the village. Only the father works, and he does not earn enough money to support the family and provide Maksym with everything he needs. His mother asks for help to buy sensors for Maksym.
