Ten-year-old Veronika Levkiv is a kind, talented, and sensitive girl. Veronika was born a perfectly healthy child, with no signs of trouble ahead. From childhood, she was very creative, cheerful, and energetic, easily finding common ground with other children. At all the celebrations in kindergarten, she was given leading roles where she could show her talents. When she started school, she began attending dance classes and a clay modeling club.

Unfortunately, at the beginning of second grade, Veronika began to change dramatically: she drank a lot of fluids and became lethargic and pale. Her mother's fears were confirmed, and after a series of tests, she received a disappointing diagnosis: type I diabetes. No one knew what to do or how to proceed... But from the very first days, the seven-year-old child learned to give herself insulin injections. She takes all her doctors' recommendations very seriously and tries to control her blood sugar levels despite all the difficulties. Due to frequent sugar spikes, Veronika was forced to leave the clubs she attended and devote more time to her health: a balanced diet, sufficient physical activity, and sleep.

It has been almost three years since she received this diagnosis, and now her breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are under total self-control, with insulin injections at least four times a day. Slowly but surely, the child is establishing her own rhythm of life... Last year, Veronika started attending art school, where she is doing very well, and this year she wants to start taking singing lessons. But in addition to injections, the girl also needs to measure her sugar level with a glucometer, which means an additional 6-8 pricks per day. The best way to protect the health of terminally ill Veronika is to keep her glucose levels within normal limits and prevent "spikes", but without sensors, this is very difficult to do. Unfortunately, they are quite expensive. Don't let this creative spark fade away!
