Help premature patients of the IPOG. 2

We open new collection on a project which will help the little patients of Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics, and Gynecology, NAMH Ukraine to get a timely reanimation help at birth before the fixed term. Premature birth remains one of the leading reasons for high incidence and mortality among newborn children so far. By the end of the 20th century in economically developed countries as a result of social and economic development, achievements in medical science, emergence of new ways of diagnostics and the prevention of diseases in prematurely born newborns, and also improvement of methods of therapy and technologies of nursing of small children, it was succeeded to reach significant increase in survival and decrease in incidence in this group of patients.

Ukraine is not an exception! The risk of the birth of the sick child directly depends on gestation term. So, for example, the children born on the term from 32 to 37 weeks have much fewer problems, than prematurely born which were born in the period from 23 to 32 weeks of pregnancy. The correct organization of prenatal and post-natal maintaining prematurely born newborns will allow to reduce considerably the risk of heavy complications and mortality among prematurely born newborns.

In most cases, all children who are born before term first of all get to intensive care unit and intensive therapy. Here the most emergency and urgent manipulations for the rescue of the kid begin. Newborns, unlike more senior children, have almost no lymphoid fabric in airways. Therefore the intubation of lungs is necessary for connection to medical ventilators.
For carrying out respiratory support of newborns blades are necessary for a trachea intubation in intensive care units of newborns without which work is impossible.
