Sumy region has the longest border with the Russian Federation and is one of the regions most affected by the actions of the russian aggressor.
Settlements in 22 territorial communities of the Sumy region have been included in the list of areas where hostilities are ongoing or have taken place. A mandatory evacuation of residents from border communities has been announced and is currently underway. Evacuations are being carried out from designated settlements in the Konotop, Sumy, Shostka, and Okhtyrka districts.
At present, frontline regions are facing a severe shortage of food and basic goods, and local civilians urgently need support.
More than 40,000 people remain in these communities today – including families with children, the elderly, and people with disabilities who are either unwilling or physically unable to leave their homes.
Due to constant shelling and destruction, the delivery of humanitarian aid is difficult, and food stores often remain closed or empty.
We are launching a fundraising campaign to purchase food for the communities in greatest need. Once the campaign is completed, we will coordinate with the Department of Social Policy of the Sumy Regional Military Administration to finalize the list of essential food items and the recipient communities.
Every hryvnia you give is not just support – it is a symbol of unity that makes us stronger.
