Assistance to severely-ill patients

There are many people in Ukraine that require special care. That’s why this project is aimed to buy hygiene means, - diapers for adults, - for low-income seniors, non-ambulatory seriously ill disabled individuals who have no financial possibility to do it alone.

For many years Caritas assists needful people with these hygiene means. Very often people whose children need diapers ask charitable foundation “Caritas Kyiv” for help. Apart from this, ill seniors and disabled individuals are under constant care of Caritas and lack functional underwear. Unfortunately, we don’t have possibility to buy these hygiene means in the wanted amount, that’s why we ask all considerate people for help and support.

Notably older people, disabled individuals and the ill are those who can await help from nowhere, and moreover, if they need the most necessary things – diapers. By joint efforts we can assist them and ease their sufferings.

We address you to assist us in helping others – don’t say ‘no’ to people in need. The approximate need in this service – 4000-6000 diapers per year (1 item costs 5-7 UAH).

In previous years we managed to find people who were ready to help with these hygiene means. However, there is no possibility at the moment, that’s why we ask you for your help to buy 4000 diapers that will become a considerable aid for those who are unable to buy them in the required amount.
