Years go by... Carefree childhood is over along with the young age and its problems and happy events, loyal friends and passionate love. Deep autumn of life arrives outside of the window completely unnoticed... Helpless old age, severe incurable illnesses, and oppressive loneliness come along. As years go by we are unaware of how we will live in old age, whether there will be a piece of bread and medicines, someone to provide help and support. We ask for your help in the purchase of diapers for the elderly.

Purchase of diapers for lying low-income elderly, disabled with serious illness. "Caritas Kyiv" is getting a lot of appeals from people who need diapers. In addition, under our care, we also have people who need diapers utterly. Unfortunately, we are not able to buy a sufficient amount of diapers. Therefore, we ask for help and support from all people who care!

Charitable Foundation "Caritas-Kyiv" for over 16 years does not leave the elderly alone with their grief and problems. Social workers kindly and friendly communication with every elderly person, listen to their requests and arrange their everyday life, taking into account their needs. Also, we help with food products, bed linen, when necessary – crutches and wheelchairs. But there is still a pressing problem in the purchase of draw-sheets and diapers for the low-income elderly and severely ill disabled people. Unfortunately, these are the people who have no one to help. Charitable Foundation "Caritas-Kyiv", asks all people who understand the problems of the old age and its care to help us raise funds for the purchase of draw-sheets and diapers.

Caritas's medical and social care is focused not on the singular problem of a person, but on his/her entire personality and the surrounding environment. Workers of Caritas try to provide the highest quality comprehensive assistance, taking into account not only physical but also spiritual and psychological problems of the person. A wide range of services is provided, such as body care, medical services, housekeeping, legal help, leisure activities, psychological support and more. In addition, employees of the "Home care" help to establish a positive relationship between family members, teach how to care for patients properly, provide psychological support after the loss of a loved one.

The approximate minimum requirement for our organization in this service is 6000-7000 diapers per year (an average of 3-4 items per person per day is required). Several times in a row we help those in need in the result of the UBB benefactors. We thank you for this and ask you to help support the needy – to raise funds for draw-sheets and diapers for lying seriously ill elderly. After all, that is a great happiness for the elderly, when they are treated with care preserving their human dignity; receive proper care which takes into account the physical characteristics and needs of the lying person.
