Since childhood, 16-year-old Khrystyna has been cheerful and restless, and she is almost never calm. The girl is always happy to chat and will find a topic for any conversation. Khrystia is a keen volleyball player and a member of the UMH youth organization. Now she is in the 11th grade at school, dividing her attention and interest between law and biology.

Since her childhood, Khrystia has had problems with acetone, which led to her being hospitalized several times a year, constantly walking pale, weak and with bruises under her eyes.

After the full-scale invasion began, the girl's condition worsened. One day, an air defense system went off during an alarm in the town where Khrystia lives. Khrystia was at home with her younger brother and was very scared. A few days after that, she began to have panic attacks, and every evening and all night long she could not sleep because of bad thoughts and dreams. Khrystyna was constantly vomiting. Because of this, she was admitted to the hospital again, where her blood sugar level rose for the first time. In the hospital, she could not sleep without sedatives and anti-nausea drugs. She had to seek help from a child psychologist. After two sessions, Khrystia's condition improved slightly.

But a year ago, in November, the girl's health situation changed significantly. Doctors diagnosed Khrystia with a much more severe disease that will now be with her forever. The diagnosis was hard to imagine – the girl has diabetes. Surprisingly, Khrystia took it partly neutrally, apparently not realizing all the consequences for her life. Now Khrystia takes diabetes in stride, not allowing herself to be depressed about it. But the constant treatment and strict daily routine affect her behavior. The family is unable to provide Khrystia with the necessary medical devices every month, and their absence makes the girl's life even harder and more severe. Let's help Khrystyna with medical devices for measuring sugar levels!
