Young Karina Dimova is practically deprived of sight. This sad situation can be corrected only by an ophthalmic operation to replace the lens in both eyes. Part of the treatment has already been completed - in October, Karina had an operation on her right eye. Two days after the operation, the doctors had already discharged her home. The girl is now at home, recovering. The doctors warned that Karina would not see very well for two weeks. “The image is not cloudy", says the girl. "Everything is bright and clear. But doubles and triples in the eyes. I cannot read and write. Doctors have banned eye strain".

Study is now on pause. The rehabilitation period will end and Karina will return to college to catch up with the curriculum. Friends, classmates constantly call and write to her, are interested in business and health. "After the operation, they just brought me in, the phone just broke from calls and sms", the girl says. "But I don't see anything and I can't answer".

Before the operation, Karina started rowing. She even managed to take part in competitions. "About 30 boats took part", she says. "Our team took second place. It was difficult, team work and at the same time it is very important that no one so gets out of rhythm". Karina spends the whole day at home. Her morning begins with the instillation of the operated eye, this procedure must be done every hour. During breaks, the girl prepares food, bakes pies and muffins. "I've cooked before", says Karina, "but not often. It turns out very tasty, the relatives praise".

Karina does not go out to the street now. "If only the left eye could see, it would be possible to cover the right one with a bandage, the operated one", says Karina. "And so I sit at home". Sometimes the girl looks at the transfer on the laptop, but a little so as not to strain her eyes. Karina and her younger sister Sonia are not bored by the family's favorite yorkshire terrier Nika.
