Kyrylo is a strong and cheerful teenager who recently turned 14. He is growing up to be active and inquisitive, is fascinated by computer technology, and dreams of working in IT in the future. Despite his young age, Kyrylo already knows what responsibility is, as he has been fighting a serious illness – diabetes – for three years.
The diagnosis was a shock for the whole family, but the boy quickly learned to live by new rules: constantly measuring his sugar levels, injecting insulin, watching his diet and well-being. Kyrylo tries not to give up and to live a full life, just like all his peers. He continues to study, communicate with friends, and do what he loves. But diabetes is not just a disease, it is a constant struggle and control. To live without fear for his health, Kyrylo needs sensors for continuous sugar measurement every day.
Thanks to the help from the foundation, Kyrylo has already received devices before, which has made his life much easier. But the biggest problem with sensors is their short lifespan – each one is designed to last only two weeks, and now the family is again forced to ask for support, because their resources are limited and expenses are not decreasing. A life without the constant shackles of anxiety is not a whim, but the right of every person. Help this young man not to lose it!
