Mariya has been suffering from severe diabetes for almost 3 years. Constant fluctuations in glucose levels have caused complications in her eyesight and kidneys. It is very important to use a sensor that automatically measures the level of sugar every 5 minutes and gives a signal in a critical situation.

In accordance with the agreement No. 21 on cooperation between the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace and the Charity Operator of the Charity Fund ‘Pomogayem’ dated 31.08.2020 and the additional agreement No. 21.275 dated 16.08.2024, the project ‘Let's Help Maria Overcome the Disease’ was posted on the dobro.ua website to attract charitable donations to pay for the treatment of Maria Boyko.

During the fundraising, it became necessary to use part of the funds raised on the website of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange - dobro.ua - to purchase some sensors and infusion kits for the girl. So, according to the letter No. 556 dated 27.09.2024, we received the collected UAH 23,478.00 (twenty-three thousand four hundred and seventy-eight hryvnias and 00 kopecks) to the account of the Foundation and continued to collect on the dobro.ua platform.

In October 2024, we purchased Guardian Sensors and MiniMed Quick-Set infusion sets for Mariya for the amount of UAH 23,478.00 (twenty-three thousand four hundred and seventy-eight hryvnias and 00 kopecks).

In January of this year, we again appealed to our regular partners, the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace, with a request to transfer part of the funds raised for the purchase of Maria's sensors. So, according to the letter No. 8 dated 09.01.2025, we received the collected UAH 18,600.00 (eighteen thousand six hundred hryvnias and 00 kopecks) to the account of the Foundation and continued fundraising on the dobro.ua platform.

This month, we paid for Guardian sensors for Mariyka in the amount of UAH 18 600.00 (eighteen thousand six hundred hryvnias and 00 kopecks).

Now Mariyka is feeling much better. The girl attends clubs and studies at school. Here is what her mother Anna writes: ‘Thanks to your support and people's indifference, it has become easier for Masha to control her sugar cravings. Now our daughter has more inspiration to try her hand at many things. She is engaged in dancing, singing, and loves to make crafts.’

So far, all the funds transferred from the Ukrainian Philanthropic Marketplace have been spent on the child's needs, and the project is still raising funds.

We sincerely thank the donors and partners of dobro.ua for their help, and the UBB team for their long-term cooperation!
