Help lighting Mark’s star

Mark grew up in an orphanage. He recalls that the greatest joy in his childhood was from participating in school holidays. Mark loved to make people laugh, to perform stand-up. While entering on stage, he seemed to be a different person, became more self-confident, these were real moments of happiness.

Unfortunately, orphanage education often does not give children the opportunity to develop their abilities, and even worse, it takes away their faith that their dreams can come true. Therefore, when Mark graduated from school, he did not even dream that one day he could try to become an actor himself.

In 2020, Mark became a member of the "Tenth Planet" project of NGO "Emmaus", where he, together with other graduates of orphanages, learns to develop his abilities, prepares to enter a university, works with psychologists and learns to deal with his fears.

This year, he confessed to the project's tutors that he still dreams of enrolling in acting. Friends from "Emmaus" introduced Mark to the actors of the theater "NEFT" and they began to work together. Mark is making great progress, classes help him feel more confident and develop his talent. But in order to enter a university and go on stage, he does need to go through a university training program in acting. The training program will last 8 months and classes will be held twice a week. This training will be a big step for Mark and will help him get on the path to realizing his dreams.

Once upon a time Mark, a boy from an orphanage, dreamt of becoming an actor and performing on stage. Today we can help him make his dream come true. This will allow him to go to university and to go through acting school, we will open the door for his further education and career.
