Let's help Mykhailo keep his diabetes under control

Mykhailyk is a kind, sincere, and cheerful boy. From early childhood he has led an active and eventful life. He loves fishing dearly – for him it is a time to be in nature, to dream, and to feel at peace. He is passionate about cycling, loves riding with friends, discovering new places, and simply enjoying the ride. The boy dreamed of becoming a professional footballer. Daily training taught Mykhailo to be strong, work as part of a team, and never give up.

Unfortunately, his illness changed his life fundamentally. Type 1 diabetes forced him and his entire family to completely change their way of life. He had to give up training and many of his favorite activities, as every day now requires constant blood glucose monitoring. Daily insulin injections, continuous blood sugar checks, and anxiety over every reading have become an inseparable part of his childhood. Even ordinary physical activity can cause sharp blood sugar fluctuations, meaning every step requires special attention and care.

Despite all the difficulties, the boy tries to stay strong and does not lose hope of fulfilling his dream – returning to an active life and playing football again. For this, Mykhailyk needs continuous glucose monitoring sensors, which track blood sugar levels around the clock without constant painful finger pricks. In the event of a dangerous rise or drop in readings, they instantly send an alert, allowing a timely response and preventing critical episodes from occurring. For the boy, this is not simply a device – it is the chance to live more safely, be more active, and return to an ordinary childhood; and for his parents, it means significantly less daily anxiety.
