Let's help preterm babies together!

On December 16, 2024, 4 SpO2 sensors with a total value of UAH 5,900 were transferred to Kharkiv City Clinical Maternity Hospital No. 6. They allow doctors to constantly monitor the level of oxygen in the blood of babies and respond to the slightest changes in time.

On January 13, 2025, the same maternity hospital in Kharkiv received a whole set of special equipment: dressings for the correct position of the child's body, "nests" for comfortable positioning, as well as 20 glasses for phototherapy "Biruvushka". The total cost of the transfer was UAH 17,010. This equipment allows you to protect babies during the treatment of jaundice, and also supports them in the correct position, which is important for development.

On the same day, January 13, 2025, the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Perinatal Center also received assistance. The hospital received shoulder girdle inserts, infant positioners, and multifunctional inserts worth UAH 8,904. Such devices allow creating conditions as close as possible to the mother's womb, which is very important for the development of premature babies.

Thanks to this project, with a total cost of UAH 31,814, modern equipment appeared in Kharkiv and Ivano-Frankivsk, which already helps to care for the smallest patients today. For some of them, it means better sleep, more stable breathing, comfort, and safety. And for others, it is a chance at life.
