Platon is a child who wants to run, laugh, and play carefree soccer with his friends. But for two years now, he has had a chronic autoimmune disease that has changed his entire childhood. Since then, every day he lives under close control: sugar measurements, diet, injections, fear of hypoglycemia. Platon has type 1 diabetes.

But despite all this, he is a very active boy who is adored at school. Platon finds learning easy, he is interested in everything new and loves football. But the disease takes away what he loves most – the opportunity to play carefree with his friends. Constant sugar monitoring does not allow the boy to relax, because even a little physical activity can cause a sharp drop in blood glucose levels.

Platon's parents are constantly looking for money to buy continuous monitoring sensors that allow them to see his sugar level in real time without daily painful finger pricks.

The situation in the family is complicated by the fact that, in addition to Platon, the parents have a 16-year-old daughter who has also been suffering from diabetes for 5 years. Raising two sick children is very exhausting for any family.
