Sashko is a kind, sincere, and cheerful boy. He is ten years old. He loves cycling, spending time with his sister, and sharing his thoughts and stories with her in the evenings.

Sashko was not yet three years old when he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Since then, every day of his life has been filled with multiple insulin injections and constant finger pricks to measure his blood sugar. For the boy, this means pain, fear, and tears.

Sashko's greatest dream is to be healthy. He very much wants to live without pain, without constant insulin injections and finger pricks, and dreams that one day his diabetes will disappear. Like every child, Sashko wants a carefree childhood, more smiles, games, and happy moments.

Continuous monitoring sensors make it possible to live without constant painful finger pricks, to see dangerous blood sugar changes in time, and to feel safe. Sensors are not a luxury – they are a necessity.
