Every day wounded defenders and civilians from the ATO zone are brought to Dnipropetrovsk hospitals. Dnepropetrovsk is the closest city to the regions where the war is. Dnipropetrovsk Clinical Hospital of Mechnikov is a place where experts provide them the first aid. Doctors of this institution, seemingly, won't be surprised by anything. But almost every day in the intensive care unit seriously wounded people are brought that need urgent medical care. Doctors say that the injuries they face they had only seen in books of military surgery.
Intensive care unit of the hospital №1 of Mechnikov has a place for 15 people. Now, in the conditions when the intensive care is completely filled, affected by the lack of equipment, namely, bedside monitors. These devices are needed to fix the state of the patient and rapid response medical personnel if indicators showing the danger to human life. The monitor should be located near each patient. However, at this time in the intensive care unit there's no bedside monitor. All of the indicators should be noted by a nurse, which with some regularity makes the necessary measurements.
Ukrainian company OLX.ua and her staff decided to allocate funds to help save precious lives. 100 000 UAH donated to purchase 5 bedside monitors HEACO G3H with a price of 20 000 UAH of each.
Devices will provide continuous surveillance and fixing performance of the patient: the electrocardiogram, blood pressure, heart rate, respiration rate, hemoglobin oxygen saturation, body temperature. Units are equipped with automatic start alarm when the indicator shows the danger.
Representatives of the company OLX express their sincere gratitude to those who gave their lives and health to protect us and our families.
