Let's help Zlata live without pain
Nine-year-old Zlata has never known a carefree childhood. From the moment she was born, the girl was restless, often crying and sleeping poorly. At the age of two, she was diagnosed with insulin-dependent type 1 diabetes. The disease arose as a complication of a viral infection. The child began to lose weight dramatically, became very lethargic, and was tormented by hunger and thirst day and night. Later, an allergic form of asthma was added to the diabetes. Zlata is allergic to cats, dogs, fish, ragweed, field grasses, and mold.
The manifestations of allergies are very difficult for Zlata to bear: she has rashes on her face and dermatitis on her body. Itching on the body is accompanied by scratching to the wounds, restless behavior and poor sleep. Over time, she developed a cough with difficulty breathing and obstructive bronchitis. At the age of 6, Zlata was diagnosed with lactose and gluten intolerance.
The girl needs round-the-clock blood sugar monitoring because she has severe diabetes. Constant sugar spikes made it necessary to check her blood glucose more than thirty times a day and night. The child is in constant pain. Round-the-clock monitoring with the help of sensors helps Zlata to attend school more comfortably.
Due to their difficult financial situation, her family is unable to buy the sensors on their own. The constant treatment of their daughter and the mandatory specific nutrition completely depletes the family's modest budget.
