Now Zlata is 10 years old. As a baby, the girl was constantly capricious, slept poorly, and cried often.... At a very early age, the child began to show signs of allergic reactions: first, a rash on the face, then atopic dermatitis all over the body, and eventually difficulty breathing. Then complaints of severe lethargy began, and Zlata asked to eat and drink more often, but she was losing weight day by day. At the age of two, the cause of all her symptoms was discovered – insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus.
At the age of three, an allergic form of asthma became one of the complications. Later, she developed lactose and gluten intolerance.
For all eight years, the severe form of diabetes has forced the girl to use round-the-clock blood sugar monitoring, as finger-stick blood sugar tests would have to be done 20-30 times a day due to unstable sugar levels and the child's poor health.
However, the sensors that directly affect Zlata's well-being are not cheap: the constant costs of maintaining the child's health and monitoring blood sugar are financially unbearable for the family. In addition to the relentless struggle with Zlatochka's illness, the family is fighting another one - a financial struggle; a struggle that directly affects the child's health. Help them win it and provide Zlata with sensors!
