Help breathe regardless of the schedule

Power banks are also used to power medical equipment – not just light bulbs. Of course, like the rest of us, they also charge flashlights and phones. But for many of our sponsored families, a power bank becomes not only an assistant in combating darkness, but also a life-saving gadget. And now, in the midst of winter, the issue remains relevant. 

Our beneficiaries are families with one or even two children with a serious incurable disease. Or there is an adult with a serious illness. The lack of electricity means that they cannot perform the necessary daily procedures, miss treatment, and deteriorate. Sometimes the issue is not so critical – it is just that performing daily tasks requires more effort from the patient's relatives: less sleep, more time and energy for ordinary household chores... You understand this, we all face these challenges. But it is harder for them. Even before the full-scale war, they had been sleeping less and spending more because they had to take care of their loved ones. For years. And if we are all tired, just imagine how much more tired they are.

But the most important thing is that many of our families can charge their inhalers from power banks. And they can inhale medicines that help them breathe on time – when prescribed by a doctor, not according to the electricity connection schedule. At dobro.ua we are raising funds for 13 power banks.
