Help the children in the hospital of Sloviansk!

They are abandoned and no one needs them. Rescue of newborns, children who have infectious diseases, children in intensive care, children after injuries. All this on their fragile shoulders. Every day, doctors and nurses are trying to save children who find themselves in the midfield of war, in the constant fear of fire and explosions. They work in the children's hospital in the Sloviansk city, Donetsk region, and now they need our help! 

Municipal medical-prophylactic institution Sloviansk City Children's Hospital (Donetsk region) appeals to all caring people for help. In the hospital, where more than 80 children are taken care of daily, the washing machine broke! Do you know what it means for people who take things home every day – sheets, pillowcases to wash 50-90 kg? This is a catastrophe! This makes treatment conditions impossible, sanitary norms are violated and, in general, causes a lot of trouble for all staff and patients.

There are many departments in the hospital: 2 pediatric, infectious, sterile boxes, intensive care unit (reanimation), food unit, economic building. Only in one day from 50 to 90 kilograms of laundry are collected here. The goal of our project is to help the hospital to ensure sanitary standards and sterility in the wards, namely, to purchase a professional washing machine. Why professional? Because no ordinary washing machine can cope with daily loads due to the huge number of patients.

This reduces the duration of the wash cycle to 40-60 minutes, improves performance and ensures maximum quality of washing with minimal energy and water costs.
