At birth, little Eva was not breathing. Fortunately, her heart was beating, so she was sent to the intensive care unit under a ventilator. For two weeks, the girl fought for her life and the ability to breathe on her own, but she was unable to take her first breath. Then the doctors decided to perform a tracheostomy. After stabilizing the baby's condition, she was discharged home.

Eva ate through a feeding tube until she was 8 months old, and at the age of six months she started attending physical therapy classes, massage and osteopathy. When Eva was 9 months old, doctors diagnosed her with Marshall-Smith syndrome. The girl began to hold her head and sit up on her own late – after a year. Now she is 2 years old. Fortunately, rehabilitation significantly improves Eva's physical condition: if earlier she could not sit and stand independently, now exercise and massage strengthen her back muscles and increase the volume of her arms and legs, so that the girl can stand and sit independently, holding her back confidently.
