Tiny Mykola spent the first 10 days of his life in the intensive care unit, he was between life and death... He could not breathe on his own, his condition was very serious. However, this boy's thirst for life made the almost impossible possible: Mykola started breathing on his own, was disconnected from the ventilator and transferred to the pathology department.

The boy was fed through a tube and had seizures. And when the baby turned one month old, he was diagnosed with epilepsy and developmental delays. At that time, Mykola was experiencing up to 100 seizures a day. It's hard to imagine the pain and hopelessness. At the age of 2, the boy was also diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

Now Mykola is 17. He has poor balance, his walking is unsteady, he cannot run or jump, write or talk (he can only imitate sounds). His hand grip and fine motor skills are weakened. However, fortunately, rehabilitation brings some progress in his condition: Mykola's spasticity decreases, his physical condition and articulation improve, and new sounds appear. For further development, the sessions with specialists need to be continued, so we are launching a fundraising campaign to pay for a new rehabilitation course for Mykola. Help him to move freely!
