Elmira was born at 27 weeks with a weight of 920 grams. Immediately after birth, the baby was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect, hydrocephalus, bronchopulmonary dysplasia and atrophy of the nerves of both eyes. It is hard to imagine how such a small baby survived so many trials...

The first year of Elmira's life was constantly in the hospital, of which she spent 5 months in the intensive care unit. When the girl was one year old, a shunt was installed. Over time, cerebral palsy and structural epilepsy were added to all the child's diagnoses. After that, the girl had to undergo heart surgery to correct a congenital defect.

Elmira is now 2 years old and, unfortunately, she can hardly do anything on her own – she just lies down all the time. Parents dream that their daughter could do at least something... Fortunately, the surgeon who operated on Miroslava allowed her to undergo rehabilitation. This beautiful and bright girl can already start treatment, but due to lack of funds, it remains out of reach.
