Immediately after birth, Elmira was diagnosed with congenital heart disease, hydrocephalus, bronchial dysplasia and nerve atrophy in both eyes. The baby spent the first year of her life in the hospital, including 5 months in the intensive care unit. At the age of one, Elmira was fitted with a shunt, and over time, cerebral palsy and epilepsy were added to the girl's other diagnoses.

Now Elmira is 3 years old, and she still does not sit, stand, walk or talk. The girl does not understand spoken language, has no grasping reflex, does not chew, has a poor appetite and is developmentally delayed. Fortunately, the last seizures were last fall, and now Elmira is drinking from a bottle and smiling often.

"Elmira has changed even more after the rehabilitation course: I don't recognize my child! When I talk to her, she tries to answer something in her own way and smiles all the time," says the girl's mother and asks all concerned people to support this project to raise funds for a new course of treatment for Mira.
