Mark is a 9-year-old boy from Rivne. Last year, he survived a terrible car accident and spent many months fighting for his life: intensive care, complex surgeries, a titanium plate replacing part of his skull, numerous screws in his body. These trials could have broken anyone. But Mark did not give up.

Every day he fights for recovery, and his small victories inspire everyone around him. Thanks to previous courses at the Agape Ukraine rehabilitation complex, Mark has already achieved impressive results: he has become stronger and more resilient, he has improved his coordination and motor skills, he recovers faster after exertion, he is becoming more independent in his daily activities.

We can see that rehabilitation works! And Mark has every chance of further recovery.

The most important stage of rehabilitation lies ahead. Due to the damage, the child's right side needs long-term recovery: his arm is not yet active, and his leg only works in a brace. At the same time, the boy cannot speak due to cognitive difficulties and uses only gestures. The next rehabilitation courses are aimed at the comprehensive restoration of motor skills and speech, which are vital for his independence and development.

Mark has already started going back to school. His classmates dream of seeing him at his desk again – so they can laugh, play, and talk together. And it is rehabilitation that can give him this opportunity.
