Help Artem restore his hearing

      The first 8 years of his life, Artem “heard” with his eyes: he read lips and hands. When the boy was bought hearing aids, his world was filled with sounds – and this gave a powerful impetus to development!       Unfortunately, Artem was recently diagnosed with auditory neuropathy and prescribed more powerful hearing aids and accessories for them.
In accordance with the Agreement No. 21 on Cooperation between the Ukrainian Charity Exchange and the Charity Aid Operator of the Pomagay Foundation dated 08/31/2020 and the Additional Agreement No. 21.290 dated 11/15/2024, the project “Help Artem Restore His Hearing” was posted on the dobro.ua website in order to attract charitable donations to pay for hearing aids for Artem Kovalenko.
      The initial amount to be collected was UAH 199,500.00 (one hundred and ninety-nine thousand five hundred hryvnias, 00 kopecks). When the entire amount needed to purchase hearing aids for Artem was collected on two information platforms: the Ukrainian Charity Exchange and the Let's Help Foundation, the doctor consulted the boy and informed him that the child needed a slightly different model of hearing aids, because a lot of time had passed since the last request.
So, according to the new invoice dated 06/20/2025, the model and related devices were changed (Phonak Naida P-UP Trial in the amount of 2 units, DRY-SUN UV2.1 device in the amount of 1 unit and TV Connector in the amount of 1 unit) and the cost of the hearing aids increased to UAH 194,080.00 (one hundred and ninety-four thousand eighty hryvnias, 00 kopecks).
      After that, we turned to our regular partners of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange - dobro.ua with a request to close the collection, reduce the project amount on UBB to the actually collected amount - 36,610.00 UAH (thirty-six thousand six hundred ten hryvnias, 00 kopecks), and transfer the funds to our current account to pay for hearing aids and administer the project, according to letter No. 269 dated 06/23/2025.
      Thanks to the kind wizards, in July of this year we purchased and handed over to Artem powerful hearing aids Phonak Naida P-UP Trial in the amount of 2 units, the DRY-SUN UV2.1 device in the amount of 1 unit and the TV Connector in the amount of 1 unit.
      While the guy is getting used to the devices, because they are stronger and more powerful than the previous ones, Artem began to hear, pronounce and understand his peers better.
      This year, Artem moved to the 4th grade. The summer holidays were very eventful: the boy attended a summer camp, participated in sports competitions, paid attention to his health, and visited his grandparents in the Mykolaiv region.
      Mom is sincerely grateful for the help her boy received!
Currently, all the funds transferred from the Ukrainian Charity Exchange have been spent on the child's needs.
