The boy with a serious look at the pictures is called Arthur. He is only seven years old, but this is an adult, not a child by year. Like all the boys he likes to ride a bike, play with friends on the street and just run around! He studied in the first grade, his future seemed serene and happy, but the insidious disease made its corrections...

Suddenly, Arthur began to feel bad – a general decline in strength, pain in the abdomen, and after a while was the bleeding from the nose. Concerned parents appealed to the hospital at the place of residence, and from there by the ambulance car, Arthur was brought to Sumy. So he was in the hematology unit. The boy's family still can not believe in a terrible diagnosis: acute lymphoblastic leukemia ...

The boy is prescribed chemotherapy. Treatment is long and expensive. It's hard for Arthur to endure "chemistry". The child gets tired, not always and not everything wants to eat, although his mother is trying to please him with all his strength. But it cannot stop. To continue treatment, Arthur needs a whole list of medicines for a total amount of 17,670 UAH: Adryblastin (50 mg) – 8 packs, Vicristin – 4 packs, Dexamethasone (1 ml) – 1 packs, Meronem (1000 mg) – 10 vials, Cytosar (100 mg) – 4 packs.

The sum is simply astronomical for a rural family. Mother Cristina is now in the hospital with Arthur, and the father had to quit his job to be with his youngest daughter, because Arthur's three-year-old sister simply has no one to leave. The family budget is completely depleted, and there is not enough money even for relatively inexpensive drugs...
