Help charity canteen

The main goal of the project is to raise funds for food for the kitchen of Charitable Foundation "Caritas Kolomyia-Chernivtsi Eparchy". At least 40 children and 90 adults get their hot full meal every day there, because they cannot buy decent food on their own, as they are representatives of the poor – children, disabled, lonely elderly. For over 10 years, the charitable canteen enables these poor people get their hot meal once a day.

But in general number of people receiving food bigger than it was planned, so that’s why it is necessary to conduct food distribution twice a day. Our goal is simple – to provide a one-time hot meals for the representatives of the poor, and we are trying to implement it. Free lunch for the poor older people and children, at first view is very small thing, but for many of them this is the only way to eat once a day and keep their funds to other minimum necessary for living.

There is one chef who works in the kitchen – Iryna Mikhasyuk. This woman provides all services in the kitchen. She cooks, washes dishes and cleans everything. She says that she works in the kitchen with big pleasure and that she is always very happy when people go from her kitchen at least a little happier. Ms. Iryna cooks according to agreed menu. Every day different dishes, necessarily hot soups, second dish (with meat or fish), salad and drinks.

The charitable canteen ехіsts thanks mostly to charitable donations. So we have to ask for help from you, generous people who are worried about the health of children and old helpless people.
