Help a brother and sister from Vilno

      David and Violetta are brother and sister from the village of Vilne in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Both have serious diagnoses, and regular rehabilitation is extremely important for them. Each course is an opportunity to maintain and develop their skills, step by step.
      In accordance with cooperation agreement No. 21 between the Ukrainian Charity Exchange Charitable Foundation and the charity aid operator Pomagaem Charitable Foundation dated 31 August 2020 and supplementary agreement No. 21. 345 dated 24 December 2025, the project ‘Help a brother and sister from Vilno’ was posted on the website dobro.ua with the aim of attracting charitable donations to pay for the treatment of Davyd and Violeta Krylov.
      The initial amount of the project was UAH 48,300.00 (forty-eight thousand three hundred hryvnias, 00 kopecks). When the entire amount needed to pay for David and Violeta's treatment was collected on two information platforms: the Ukrainian Charity Exchange Charitable Foundation and the Pomagayem Charitable Foundation, we requested that the collection be closed and the project amount on the UBB be reduced to the actual amount collected – 37,215.65 UAH (thirty-seven thousand two hundred and fifteen hryvnias, 65 kopecks) and to transfer the funds to our current account to pay for the children's treatment and project administration, in accordance with letter No. 47 dated 28 January 2026.
    Thanks to the funds received in January of this year, we paid for part of the rehabilitation for David and Violeta at the Charitable Organisation "Rehabilitation Centre, PHYSICAL THERAPY AND INCLUSIVE EDUCATION NAMED AFTER SAINT JOHN THE RIGHTEOUS" for a total amount of 24,900.00 UAH (twenty-four thousand nine hundred hryvnias, 00 kopecks).
      Despite the unfavourable weather conditions, the children did not miss a single day of classes. Violetta has had excellent results after the massages — the tension has almost completely disappeared and her shoulder blades have straightened. 
      Together with David, they focused on working to restore mobility in his legs. This is not an easy task, but both he and the rehabilitation specialist are putting all their efforts into it. Master classes are held almost every day, bringing immeasurable joy to the children. 
      We plan to use the remaining funds in the amount of 12,345.65 UAH (twelve thousand three hundred and forty-five hryvnias, 65 kopecks) for David and Violetta's needs in 2026.
