David and Violetta are brother and sister from the village of Vilne in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Both have serious medical conditions, and regular rehabilitation is vital for them. Each course offers an opportunity to maintain and develop their skills, step by step.
In accordance with Cooperation Agreement No. 21 between the Charitable Organisation International Charitable Foundation ‘Ukrainian Charity Exchange’ and the Charitable Aid Operator Charitable Foundation ‘Pomagayem’ dated 31 August 2020, and Supplementary Agreement No. 21. 345 of 24 December 2025, the project ‘Help a Brother and Sister from Vilne’ was posted on the website dobro.ua with the aim of raising charitable donations to cover the medical treatment of Davyd and Violeta Krylov.
The initial target amount for the project was 48,300.00 UAH (forty-eight thousand three hundred hryvnias, 00 kopecks). Once the full amount required to cover David and Violeta’s treatment had been raised on two fundraising platforms: the Ukrainian Charity Exchange (UCE) and the Pomagayem Charitable Foundation, we requested that the fundraising campaign be closed, that the project’s target amount on the UCE be reduced to the actual amount raised – 37,215.65 UAH (thirty-seven thousand two hundred and fifteen hryvnias, 65 kopecks) and to transfer the funds to our bank account to cover the children’s treatment and project administration, in accordance with letter No. 47 dated 28 January 2026.
Thanks to the funds received in January of this year, we paid for part of the rehabilitation for David and Violeta at the Charitable Organisation ‘BU “REHABILITATION, PHYSICAL THERAPY AND INCLUSIVE EDUCATION NAMED AFTER SAINT JOHN THE Righteous’ for a total amount of 24,900.00 UAH (twenty-four thousand nine hundred hryvnias, 00 kopecks), and in February – in the amount of 10,483.37 UAH (ten thousand four hundred and eighty-three hryvnias, 37 kopecks), also paid for the administration of the project.
David is studying at a technical college and is keen on fishing. This year he has taken up winter fishing, which gives him particular pleasure.
Following her rehabilitation, Violeta enthusiastically continues to do her exercises at home, and the family is delighted to see her progress. She loves creative activities, particularly making clay crafts. For the family, the most important thing is to see positive results and to be glad that her condition is not deteriorating. Thanks to professional rehabilitation, the children are able to maintain and improve their health.
Currently, all funds transferred from the Ukrainian Charity Exchange have been spent on the children’s needs.
We sincerely thank the donors and partners of dobro.ua for their help, and the UCE team for their long-standing cooperation!
