Damir is 5 years old and has autism. The boy began to sit and crawl at the age of 6 months, but the parents were alarmed by the fact that he did not respond to his name and did not look into the eyes, there was no eye contact. At 10 months, Damir started walking, but on tiptoes. If the boy started to cry, it was difficult to stop him. The parents went to the doctor with the symptoms, who assured that the child was healthy.

When Damir went to kindergarten, the psychologist and speech therapist of the institution sent him to the commission, where the boy was diagnosed with "autistic spectrum disorder." The boy was taken to a nearby city for consultations with specialists, but they did not bring significant results.

And in March 2022, the family evacuated from their native Lysychansk, Luhansk region. After that, Damir was examined in Kyiv, where he was diagnosed with autism, recommended to undergo rehabilitation and classes with various specialists of narrow specialization. However, a family with IDP status, who rents housing and does not have a permanent income, simply cannot cope with such expenses on their own.

"My biggest dream is for Damir to go to first grade. I want him to talk, recite poems, communicate with friends. I hope for your support, thanks to which our son will be able to undergo rehabilitation at the center and will receive an impetus to progress", adds the boy's mother. Help him!
