Diana was born prematurely – at 29 weeks of pregnancy, weighing only 850 grams. She was tiny, but even then she was extremely strong. Her life became a struggle from the first second. Ahead were 2.5 months in the intensive care unit, dozens of procedures, numerous diagnoses and uncertainty.

The fourth-degree hemorrhage caused irreparable damage to the brain. The hydrocephalus syndrome began to progress. Spastic quadriplegia binds the body with tension, and dystonic hypertension prevents Diana from moving. She also has a delay in motor, speech and physiological development, suffers from epileptic activity and cardiac arrhythmia. At the age of one year and 8 months, the girl still cannot roll over on her own, her movements are limited, and her eyes are affected by conjugate strabismus.

However, even in such conditions there is hope. After the first course of rehabilitation, which was made possible thanks to your support, Dianka began to hold her head better - a small victory that means a lot to her family.

Now the girl needs regular rehabilitation courses, special classes and medical treatment. This is the only chance to improve the quality of her life, to teach her at least the simplest movements, and to make her feel part of this world.
