Frantic running in circles is the life of families with a seriously ill person. It looks like anything but a normal life. It is a race for survival. Because, in addition to the disease itself and the fight against all its consequences (which in itself is not cheap), no one has cancelled the usual daily household needs of the family. All together, it's too much. The expenses are regular, the lack of funds is constant.

The list of basic needs of our families includes medicines, high-calorie formulas, medical equipment and supplies, nappies and diapers and other hygiene products, tracheostomy and gastrostomy care products, wound care... From time to time, we also have to spend money on inpatient treatment. Food, sleep, and safety are often at the bottom of Maslow's pyramid, and these basic needs are met on a residual basis. These families are used to saving money on groceries and often have to choose whether to go to the pharmacy or the grocery store today. 

We want to support families with seriously ill children or adults by paying for food certificates. This little help really becomes a lifesaver, helping them to catch their breath a little.
