Help Oleksandr fight cancer

The trouble crept up to Oleksandr Dmitrovich unexpectedly. The man helped his brother transport the hay. The car, loaded with bales of hay, braked sharply and the man fell from a height on the asphalt, injured his hand. The operation was performed, the wound healed for a long time. Subsequently, bumps began to appear on the body, then on the forehead. Concerned, Oleksandr Dmitrovich and his wife went to the doctor. They were sent to the oncological dispensary, took a picture. The diagnosis is shocking: kidney cancer with metastases...

As it turned out, the wound did not heal because the bone was responding to disease. Even now, in order to raise the operated arm, Oleksandr Dmitrovich has to raise his sore arm with his good hand... After leaving school, Oleksandr Dmitrovich went to serve in the army like all his peers. Demobilized, he forced himself to work at the Koretskiy ROVD. From there, in 1986, Oleksandr  was sent to courses at the Kiev police school.

Just during my studies, there was an accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Oleksandr, along with other cadets, was sent there. The guy was there for the first four days of the accident... Received a dose of radiation. Who knows, maybe the echo of the Chernobyl disaster made itself felt later? Oleksandr has a certificate of "liquidator of the Chernobyl accident category 2". After these events, the guy returned home and worked in the police. He got married, together with his wife Vera, they raised two children - a son and a daughter. Subsequently, having freed himself from the police, he got a job at a state farm in his native village as the head of a workshop for the repair of agricultural machinery.

Oleksandr never had any health problems. The man is hardworking - he was not afraid of work. "He went to the fields, helped his wife with the housework – he was not shy, like the others", says Vera, his wife, "and can cook. A kind, diligent person".

Oleksandr Dmitrovich is a benevolent person. His five-year-old granddaughter Eva is very fond of him. Grandpa always brings gifts to the baby. Together with her husband, his wife Vira, children, father and brothers are always nearby. The family is very friendly, they support Oleksandr Dmitrovich and helped him a lot in his treatment. A man is embarrassed to ask for help. All his life he was used to relying on himself.

The man is being treated at an oncology center. He was prescribed everolimus for three months. The family bought the drug for two months on their own. There is a result – metastases began to decrease. But the family no longer has the funds to purchase the necessary drug for the third month of treatment. Treatment cannot be interrupted.
