Help restore the lost health of the defenders

Vinnytsia Regional Clinical Psychoneurological Hospital named after Academician O.I. Yushchenko* in Vinnytsia is a communal multidisciplinary clinical non-profit enterprise that provides primary, secondary, tertiary outpatient and inpatient medical care in the following areas: physical rehabilitation medicine, psychiatry, psychotherapy, child psychiatry , children's neurology, surgery, therapy, pediatrics, narcology, as well as a wide range of clinical and diagnostic services. The institution was founded in 1897 and is designed for 800 inpatient beds.

In 2023, a Rehabilitation Center and a multidisciplinary rehabilitation department were created in the hospital. The rehabilitation hospital has 55 beds, about 100 patients receive help per month, 80% of them are men, 20% are women and children. Most of the patients are military personnel with craniocerebral, spinal cord, gunshot and shrapnel, mine and explosive injuries, strokes, PTSD, etc., the hospital also serves internally displaced persons

During the year of operation, the Center's multidisciplinary rehabilitation team provided assistance to 1,200 persons with functional impairments. The team is constantly learning and training others, improving the material and technical base in order to provide effective evidence-based rehabilitation assistance. One of the six centers of excellence (training centers) for multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams designated by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine operates on the basis of the department.

The workload in the institution is very high, and in order to provide effective comprehensive assistance to patients in recovery and return to life, there is a need for rehabilitation equipment. As part of this fee, we would like to provide the institution with a passive rehabilitation device for the shoulder and a passive rehabilitation device for the joints of the lower limb.

The effectiveness of the rehabilitation process largely depends on the devices used, because modern devices are technologically equipped and can be adjusted according to the needs of the patient.
