Help to say "mom"!

The most unforgettable moment in every mother’s life is hearing her baby’s first words. Due to his disease, Kyrylo Lagniuk has still not said his first “mommy” yet. While he is 4 years old, he is still unable to sit, does not walk and does not talk. All these years, Kyrylo’s parents do all that they can to create the best conditions for his growth and development, despite his disease, and it requires a lot of money.

“Right after Kyrylo's birth, he was taken into intensive care. He required life support in the department of newborn pathologies. Since he was 4 months old we were undergoing regular rehabilitation courses. There have been some results, but there is still a long path ahead of us. Kyrylo does not walk, sit, or talk yet. He understands everything but cannot express it yet. He is very smart and has a lot of potentials. His smile warms our hearts every day. When other kids come to visit, he gets more energetic, starts moving as if he is trying to run around with them, and makes sounds as if he is trying to talk. It is heartbreaking to watch our little boy not being able to join his friends for a game.

After many courses of rehabilitation, Kyrylo is now able to turn himself over. The mobility of his hands and fingers has improved. With somebody support, he can walk and can sit for 1 minute with his legs crossed. Those results were achieved thanks to treatments in Truskavets. We should not give up now. We need to push forward so that our beloved boy has a chance for a complete recovery. Diagnosis is not a sentence, so there is a hope for us! The doctors are also optimistic. We just need to keep him undergoing rehabilitation courses every three months. There is nothing more that we want other than our boy to be able to walk, be happy and healthy. Unfortunately, resources of our family are depleted and we cannot afford the cost of the treatment.
