While her sister was at home, Veronika underwent long and grueling rehabilitation courses in hospitals. Doctors determined the cause of her difficulties in the first days of her life: irreversible changes in the central nervous system. These changes led to diseases that still prevent Veronika from living a full life.

But the path to new achievements has begun. If before the age of three Veronika could not perform even basic actions on her own, after the first course of rehabilitation everything began to change. Step by step, she started interacting with the world, getting to know her surroundings and developing new skills.
