After birth, the newborn Vera had no reflexes. The girl's medical record was full of a number of diagnoses: congenital heart disease, hypoxia, genetic disease, Smith-Lemli-Opitz syndrome and CNS damage. Thus began her story of struggle.

First, Vera underwent heart surgery, followed by treatment for hypoxia, after which she struggled with gross developmental delay and Smith-Lemli-Opitz syndrome. By the way, this struggle continues to this day. The girl visits rehabilitation centers and conscientiously works at home, follows all the advice of doctors. Now Vera is already 8 years old, and she recently returned from another treatment.

“In exercise therapy classes, Vera learned to stay upright, standing in ski boots with and without orthoses, and to walk with support. We will reproduce such workouts at home in order to preserve and develop Vera's new skills. We will also conduct educational games and use various ways of useful stimulation of sensations for the development and correction of our daughter's behavior. However, rehabilitation cannot be stopped,” Vera’s mother says.

The girl still has a lot of work ahead of her, but her parents have no money to continue treatment. We ask you to support this project so that Vera can get into a new rehabilitation course. Help her!
