Help Vitalik recover!

Vitalik's serious trouble began in 2012, when the child began to be ill with viral infections regularly. His mom drew attention to the increase in the inguinal lymph nodes. The analysis revealed a decrease in hemoglobin in the blood, but any abnormalities doctors have found. Doctors appointed medication therapy, but hemoglobin has not been raised. This has caused serious concern, and the boy was sent to Oncohematology Pediatric Regional Hospital.

Next year in April, the child's blood counts were much deteriorated. Vitalik was hospitalized in the Oncology and Hematology department. At the hospital, he repeatedly made a puncture of the bone marrow. Then there was consultation with the chief of Pediatric Hematology in the Ministry of Health NSCH "Okhamatdyt", as well as consultation with the survey Horev Medical Center (Israel). Based on the results of laboratory and histological, cytogenetic studies of bone marrow was diagnosed myelodysplastic syndrome.

From May to June 2015 Vitalik was treated at the Oncology and Hematology department of Zhytomyr Regional Children's Hospital. In addition to the refractory cytopenia the doctors revealed nephropathy and toxic hepatitis.

Now Vitalik is at home, he attends the school. Last year he was on the individual training, this year goes to school like a normal kid. He studies well, loves geography, history. And he is a very active child who loves football, communicate with peers, playing computer games, cycling and walking in the woods for mushrooms. But mother has to constantly monitor his health and if something is wrong, he goes to the hospital again.

For further treatment Vitalik needs 3 packages of ‘Sandimun" totaling 7 260 UAH. Mother is raising Vitalik alone and she has to be very difficult. So she asks all concerned people to help in the treatment of his son.
