Help save Roma's eyesight!

Roma was born a normal child. However, at the first month of life on his tummy had a strange stain. In the future, these spots have started to appear all over the body, and it lasted up to six months. Roma was observed by geneticist. At 7-8 month age his head began to change the shape – the hump appeared on the temporal lobe. Roentgen and computed tomography of the head confirmed the presence of arachnoid cysts. Doctors recommended only to watch on the baby. In March 2015 on the MRI results was discovered glioma of both optic nerves.

Then were followed the consultations of doctors experts in OKHMATDYT, Cancer Institute, and the appointment of treatment. After re MRI in June 2015 it was found glioma growth by 10 mm, for 3 months. It was decided to begin chemotherapy. Child carried the treatment extremely difficult – nausea, vomiting, fever.

Now after 1 course of "chemo" Roma feels good. He is an active, happy and cheerful boy again. The hardest thing for Roman is to sit on one place, all the time he tries to flee and pull out the catheter.

For chemotherapy Roma needs of medications "Carboplatin" for total amount 9 002.36 UAH. Parents ask all indifferent people to help raise funds for the treatment of their son.
