The Way to heart

The project "The Way to Heart" seeks to set a new record in the number of rescued children's lives. The aim of the event is to support the hospitals, which for many parents is the only hope because, for hundreds of kilometers around, they will never receive the necessary medical care for their children. We are raising money for equipment for a hospital in Kovel, Ratne village, Dnipro, and Kiev.

Life is the greatest value, especially for a person that just started to live. The project "The Way to heart" seeks to make it so that regardless of whether the child was born in Kiev or in the Military, she had a chance at salvation and at the beginning of their own journey.

Kovel maternity hospital receives approximately 1 500 births per year, increasing every year the percentage of stay of newborns in the neonatal intensive care and nursing of premature babies – from 8.2% in 2014 to 9.5% in 2016; the analysis of infant deaths indicates a need to retrofit offices incubators for newborns that will help in nursing premature babies. It is designed to create a perfect microclimate, which allows to minimize the child's anxiety and reduce the time for her treatment. The presence of incubators for newborns will help in caring for premature and will reduce the infant mortality rate.

In Ratne Central hospital over 10 months of 2016 was born 593 toddlers and 7% of them needed urgent care, which is accompanied by artificial ventilation of the lungs because it affects not only the survival, but also whether the child is physically and mentally healthy. No less important are the special modern photolumi to provide phototherapy, which obviated the need to make young patients a blood transfusion.

The Dnipro Center for pediatric cardiology and cardiac surgery is a unique institution because, since its creation in 2008, their professional level rose so much that 100% of patients can get help at the center without having to go to other companies. However, the need operations much more than we can physically do doctors, mainly due to the insufficient number of medical equipment. That is why the hospital has requested to purchase the equipment first necessity is a syringe infusion pumps and pulse oximeter.

And of course, we traditionally help the Children's cardiac center, he is the pride of our country, saving the lives of thousands of children from all over Ukraine and many children from other countries. Doctors undertake the most difficult operations for many is the last hope.
