This boy survived contrary to the doctors' predictions. Mykyta was born prematurely and spent some time after his birth in intensive care under a ventilator. He was diagnosed with congenital pneumonia, hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy and stroke. Over time, after being discharged from the maternity hospital, the baby was found to have a heart rhythm disorder, damage to the white matter of the brain, and a number of concomitant diseases. In a year, cerebral palsy was added to all diseases.

Now, at the age of 3, Mykyta has learned to roll over, crawl like a plastuna, sit on his knees and stand at a support, and recently even began to walk. The boy loves to play with toys, knows and names all parts of the body, says different words and eats with a spoon on his own.

However, due to the war, the psychological state of the boy worsened, he stopped in the development of the musculoskeletal system. In February, Mykyta had a generalized seizure, but then he could not get to the hospital due to hostilities. Now the boy needs the correct corrected treatment, but his parents, who are left without work, simply cannot pay for it.

Friends, Mykyta has come such a long way to learn everything he knows now. But we can’t stop now, rehabilitation must continue. Help him get into rehab!
