Yevhenii Sechyn is known to his loving family, friends, teachers as vigorous, friendly, decent, astucious, buoyant person. Moreover he is a student of Melitopol college of  Dmytro Motornyi Tavria State Agrotechnological University. He is keen on psychology and English. His primary goal is to get a college degree and work in the programming industry. In his opinion , everyone can make his own contribution for the enhancement of humanity within the limits of specialization. So, there are a lot of plans for the future , but for now – his only wish is to heal.

Everything began in february 2020 , when Yevhenii got sick with an acute viral respiratory infection.  He had a bad feeling left , lymph nodes  went up. The doctors couldn`t set a diagnosis for a long time.  Moreover , the quarantine prevented from getting to Kyiv in time for a consultation.  No one suspected cancer at that time. And already on the first days of May Yevhenii got to the hospital with a low blood counts. And only in the Zaporizhzhia Regional Children's Hospital in the Department of Hematology he was diagnosed with  acute myeloid leukemia. After that Zhenya suffered 5 months of hell in the oncological department.

4 cycles of high-dose chemotherapy, endless blood transfusions and platelet concentrate. As a result – severe stomatitis and nausea , which complicated the nutrition. And also - a large number of antibiotics and remedies , that induced side effect amplification. Subfebrile body temperature, which had to be reduced with medications through IVs. Severe recovery from – aplasia – when the bone marrow practically does not generate blood cells or generates them , but not as much as it needs.  As a result, everything caused  a big loss of body weight up to 23 kg. The guy couldn`t move without assistance and wound up in a wheelchair.  Despite his difficult disease , thanks to the hard endeavours and constant work Yevhenii found the strength and got back on his feet. Body weight was fractionally restored. He continues to be engaged in his interest remotely to fulfill his dream.

He dives into the books with a pleasure, when the condition allows. The books don`t allow him to fall into the despair and help to endure and hold on, until that happy moment when the illness is gone. After all, Yevhenii believes only in victory, so he must to wait for the bone marrow transplantation. But before that, he needs an expensive treatment with Venetoclax 100 mg.

The cost of one package of the medicament is 23 000 UAH. It suffices him for 4 days only, and the disease took away all the family`s savings already. Despite everything, the boy still has a hope for help from caring people.

Now for Zhenya its priceless!
