Mishka’s second surgery – let’s help together!

Mishka, as his mother affectionately calls him, is a small but very brave boy from the Kyiv region. With your support, we were already able to help him when, at 7 months old, he needed surgery on his skull (cranioplasty), and thanks to the generosity of caring donors, he successfully went through this difficult stage. His parents hoped that after the surgery the bones of his head would grow together and life would become normal, but a year later it became clear: Mykhailo needs a second surgery, without which the formation of his skull will be compromised.

Mykhailo is a curious and cheerful little boy! He loves to draw, count to ten, play with toys, and help his mother cook. Everything around him fascinates him: he carefully observes animals, explores new objects, and even enjoys riding in a car. However, his life is currently very limited: running, jumping, and playing are allowed only under strict supervision, as any head injury could be dangerous. In addition, the boy needs treatment for his tear ducts, but the main priority is the surgery on his skull.

The family has already paid for examinations, CT scans, and treatment on their own, but they do not have enough funds to buy the necessary plates – 220,919 UAH. His father works, his mother is on maternity leave, and it is impossible to collect this amount on their own. Mykhailo bravely endures all procedures, and despite his fear after the first surgery, he is now friendly and tries to play with other children.
