Cerebral palsy is not a sentence for Maryika

Mariyka is 17 years old, she has loving parents and a sister, they are twins. But, unfortunately, due to the diagnosis of cerebral palsy, she cannot walk independently and self-care skills are not always successful. But the girl always diligently improves them.

From the age of 11, Maria was operated on at the Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics, and after numerous operations, restorative treatment and rehabilitation were carried out. Doctors predict that Maria will be able to walk on her own. But it takes time and regular physical therapy classes, massage courses, and improving already acquired skills.

Rehabilitation is urgently needed for Maria, there she improves her physical condition, acquires new skills and abilities, communicates with the center's specialists, and follows all recommendations. And Mariyka has a hobby that gives her a creative impulse to undergo rehabilitation – making paintings from diamond mosaics. Mariyka already has a whole collection of such paintings! She is a very creative and artistic girl, but also loves order, always willingly helps her mother with household chores.

"CP is not a sentence for Maria. There is always a gradual exit from the position. The child is mentally preserved, strives for a full life. And for this we need the support of people, fairies and wizards. We live with faith in better times and peace in our native land. We will be sincerely grateful to all kind hearts!", says Mariyka's mother, Natalia.

In order for a girl to start walking, parents always try to do even more than they can. However, the family's financial resources are exhausted. Among her relatives, Mariyka also has a grandmother, who is retired, but always tries very hard to help her granddaughter to the best of her ability.
