Cerebral palsy and great achievements of Illia. 2

You already know this smiling boy — Ilya Kravchenko Serhiiovych. He comes from Makariv, Kyiv region. He is a very cheerful, positive, kind, fidgety, curious and talented child, who loves watching informative scientific films, reading books about nature and doing creative work (modeling, appliquéing, painting, singing and dreaming). He goes to “Suzirya” studio and with the help of his mom wrote his first poetry:

This kid has a lot of dreadful diagnoses: cerebral palsy, spastic diplegia, mental retardation and flexion contracture. He undergoes treatment at Bersenev Medical Center for 10 years. He is known and beloved here because he is an open-hearted person. Ilya gets on well with people all around; he can always sympathize with someone and give a helping shoulder. He always defends the offended, feeds animals (pigeons in the park, seagulls near the seacoast, cats and dogs at home and so on) and does not allow to scold children.

His state of health gradually improves. He is 13 now and goes to the 7th form of general school. The boy undergoes rehabilitations in the regional Inclusive Recreation Resource Center, receives professional advice from specialists and the nearest and dearest care of him. This helps him to assimilate the experience of playing tennis in the “Fenix” club for disabled, to do track and field athletics at DYSS, to ride a bicycle.

Furthermore, the family is short of money: mother brings her son up without her husband’s support, they are divorced. She can’t have a full-time job because her son needs care. But Ilya needs to undergo the next course of treatment at Bersenev Medical Center. Let’s help this little child in his further development and treatment! Earlier at UBB we had already raised money for IIlia.
